I need to change my password-asap - Guild Wars Forums

Like I said above, my password needs to be changed. One problem: I forgot what NCsoft account my GW account is attached to. Of course I asked for help on their website (4 days ago), but no luck. Is there anything I can do to find this out? And I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post in

I doubt there's anything folks here can do for you, sorry. We can only tell you to contact support, and you've already done that.

I wouldn't recommend pestering them for a response frequently. But if it's been four days, you might send a followup. Be polite and patient, of course. When you sent the original request, they should've sent you an auto-response email. In the past, when I had open support tickets, I always followed-up by replying to the emails (in the space they ask you to add additional information.) Supposedly there's a way to respond through the website, too, but I've never tried it.

With the free pane promotion, they're probably still busy helping lots of people restore their NCSoft accounts. Perhaps I've just had really lucky timing with problems, but I've never had to wait more than 24 hrs for a response from them.

If you need to change your password to your game log-in, log in and go Edit Account > Change Password.

If you can't do that, e-mail Support with your story and include vital information to your account's identity, like access keys that you bought from boxes or transaction numbers for things bought through the In-Game Store.
